New Orleans’ Goon Gang Ridahz brought out the whole crew for this new Lupe Fiasco assisted record, “Brief Intermission”. At 6-plus minutes, the song is anything but brief, as Lupe Fiasco and GGR take turns over sparse and crunchy trap music before the song ends abruptly and fittingly with “I need some water.” The record is not Lupe Fiasco followed by five-minutes of throwaway bars, GGR do well to show their own skills and hang in there with super lyrical Lu.
