Stones Throw has been a staple of good independent music for the last 15 years and has released albums from Aloe Blacc, MED, Guilty Simpson, Madlib, J Rocc, Peanut Butter Wolf, Mayer Hawthorne, Now and Again, and many others. In case you forgot, or are new and hadn’t heard, Stones Throw is the shit. They remind us with this trailer for their in-process documentary, Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton, which will tell the story of the formation of the label, their passion for the music, and what’s still to come. To fund the completion of the documentary, Stones Throw and director Jeff Broadway have created a Kickstarter campaign.
