Chicago’s Hey Champ announced today that they have a new record deal with Seattle’s Townie Records, and that their debut LP, Star, will be released July 13th. Following the buzz of “Cold Dust Girl”, Hey Champ have been touring, DJing, and remixing for the last year and half all leading up to the release of the new album. Congrats to the Rockford natives, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more from Hey Champ as the release nears.
