Chicago’s Hey Champ, a group we’ve been telling you about since ’09, will release a brand new EP on May 10th entitled Anything At All. They released the LP’s title track, a mellow and summery number centering on resigned optimism. While Hey Champ are grouped in with the bubbling electro scene, they are adept songwriters and can easily go into more formal rock and pop sounds. “Anything At All” is more along those lines, and sounds great.
