Griffen has certainly ended 2010 with a big bang. The Chicago emcee that captured our attention earlier this year after signing to Scarface’s Facemob records is closing out 2010 by dropping a double album in the form of Engleworld. Broken up into two volumes, Engleworld represents the best of Griffen’s musical output, and is a heavy addition to Chicago’s music scene. Griffen also uniquely released the music by teaming with RubyHornet and Fakeshoredrive, the two sites that have been at the forefront of Chicago’s underground the past few years.
Volume 2 is 21 tracks deep and includes guest features from Mike 100s, Big Homie D.O.E., Julio, Mike Nitty and others. DJ Twelvz is on the mix, and you can download it below.
