While perched overseas touring with fellow NY based artist Knxwledge, the nineteen year old beat artist InfinitiRock is readying two releases over the next week. Tomorrow his album Music For Primordial Recollection is out via the Sufjan Stevens led label Asthmatic Kitty. However, this track “Chinese Elephants” is the first single from his upcoming EP, Apeirophobia out April 5th via Base Trip Records. InfinitiRock is able to mold the sounds of fluttering bells, heavy kickdrums and what seems to be a marching band snare into a swirling collage of hip-hop grooves layered upon the soothing vocals of singer Nick Lattanzi in the first single, “ChineseElephants.” Download below.
