Eminem

I don’t think I’d be alone in thinking that Eminem’s move to sign Slaughterhouse was just as much about business as it was scoring points for Hip Hop heaven.   Eminem pulled in former running mate Royce Da 5’9″ as well as his trio of immensely talented wordsmiths that just couldn’t break out of the underground Hip Hop aesthetic from which Eminem broke and bounced years ago.   Eminem also seems to have saved the best tracks for last, as “Session One” is the iTunes bonus cut that features Slaughterhouse as well as production from Just Blaze.   I got a copy of Recovery last week, and while the overall LP is solid, “Session One” trumps everything I’ve heard thus far.   Check it out below.
