With Machete hitting theaters tomorrow, the good guys at SA Studios are here with some special footage featuring actor Danny Trejo aka Machete, Artist David Choe, and Photographer/Director Estevan Oriol. Inspired by Danny’s iconic face, David Choe crafted original poster art based on Machete as a tribute. SA Studios was on-hand to capture this unique pairing and document the creation of David Choe’s original Machete art. Estevan from the Soul Assassins crew, who was commissioned by 20th Century Fox to film promo videos for the movie, shot a mini-documentary of Trejo, after they got some footage of Trejo and Mr. Cartoon lowriding through the city. They traveled through East LA to chop it up with some fans at a car show, and visted Trejo’s childhood home. Hit the jump for the clips of Choe’s and Oriol’s interactions with Trejo.
