We’ve been fortunate enough to receive a steady supply of J. Cole recently. A lot of his latest tracks have had some heavy-hitting instrumentals and vocals like “I’m On It” (cannot stop listening to this track). J. Cole goes in a bit of a different direction with this Alex Da Kid produced track. The track has more of a mainstream feel to it as Jermaine reflects on his musical experience and what it has meant to him. Even though he’s blowing up and incredibly talented, this introspective track seems to indicate J. Cole hasn’t let this success go to his head. I have no idea who sings the chorus but the female vocalist sounds great. Pretty sure this is unfinished too. Make the jump to grab the track.
