The boy out of NC doesn’t rap about where he’s at but rather where he’s from on the most recent material from his upcoming album. The song’s got a mild bassline and if you listen a little closer, it’s got some beautiful but faint guitar that shines brighter in the absence of J. Cole’s touching lyrics.
