Def Poetry alum, Chicago native and all around Hip-Hop enthusiast, J. Ivy is here with visuals for the single “2012”, off his latest release Here I Am which is out now. Shot in one of Chicago’s many abandoned warehouses and directed by Will Gates, this track/video is a testament to the positive shift we are seeing on Hip-Hop today. “2012” features local heavyweights Twone Gabz and Mikkey Halsted, and is produced by Sal Dali.
