Chicago’s own Christian Rich supply the backdrop for this record from the up and coming crooner, John West. West just inked a record deal with Mercury/IDJ Records and introduces himself via this Vibe premiere. “Lovely” is tinged with production sounding a little bit like Kanye West’s “Heard’em Say”, and a guest verse from Pusha-T of The Clipse, who again puts drug references to the background for a little bit of lighter subject matter.
