I first heard of John West a little while back from the track he did with Pusha T fittingly titled “Lovely”. The piano, guitar, and strings driven melody was smooth and soulful. It kind of sounded like a softer “Heard ’em Say” with Pusha occupying the role of Kanye and John taking on a more prominent version of Adam Levine’s performance. On the first of two new tracks to hit the web, John West, ventures out on his own for a R&B rooted track. He also just had a video sponsored and released by Dr. Pepper Cherry in which he grabs a guitar for “Nobody”. Sounds great. Make the jump to check out the music.
