The wait was worth it.
Kanye said he’d be dropping this track a week ago when on the air with Angie Martinez. So we waited and waited…and waited. Friday and the rest of the weekend passed with no link. Kanye tweeted a pic of him and Swizz, implying the track was being touched up. At 1 am this morning he gave us the remixed track and it was immediately clear to me that that extra week was well spent.
The track is the epitome of a remix, being much bigger and better than the original. Jay-Z hops on board to make a brief appearance and Yeezy adds 2 “powerful” verses, not to mention the last one’s use of an school sample. Download the song after the jump.
