Travis Barker gave the world what it so desperately needed, an updated version of “H.A.M” with better drums… I kid, I kid. The remix will appear on the DJ Whoo Kid x Travis Barker mixtape, Let The Drummer Get Wicked, which will be released on February 21st and pave the way for Barker’s forthcoming album Give The Drummer Some. That is expected to impact on 3/15. The album should be huge, featuring the likes of Kanye West, Raekwon, The Cool Kids, The Neptunes, Lil’ Wayne, Rage Against The Machine, Yelawolf, Lupe Fiasco and others alongside the Blink 182 drummer.
Barker has beefed up drums for many songs, and per usual, this is a solid effort from Barker. I wasn’t too fond of the original, but perhaps it will grow on me. Listen to the new version below.
