Today is Kembe X’s 18th birthday, and finally his age is starting to catch up to his raps. Much like his favorite emcee, Nasir Jones, Kembe X has an old soul and spits bars ahead of his time. It’s been a while since we got new music from Kembe, who is currently working on new material for an album with Alex Wiley coming on Closed Sessions down the line. Although it’s Kembe’s birthday, it’s Hip Hop fans who receive the gift, as Kembe releases a snippet of “Soul Fever”.
