Last week Kembe X performed at our Digital Freshness showcase at Reggie’s. Before his set, he spoke with Jaime Black for his Chicago Verse United Dynasty Podcast series. Believe it or not, Digital Freshness was only Kembe’s second show ever, and he even admits to being nervous. He also talks to Black about meeting Nas at SXSW, his Village Collective, and getting used to managers, promotions and other things that come with creeping on the come up.
