Kendrick Lamar’s debut drops in just a couple weeks, and today we get a pretty dope new cut dedicated to his hometown and featuring his hometown forefather, Dr. Dre. They brought the budget out for this one, as “Compton” is also produced by Just Blaze. I’ve seen some twitter ramblings about this cut, and it not being that good. Frankly, I think it’s pretty dope. The end kind of gets away from it, but Kendrick shines and beat knocks, yet keeps the traditional Just Blaze vibe. Listen and enjoy below.
