Kendrick Lamar’s #Section80 is a release I’ve been looking forward to for a while. He’s a commercially viable hope for Hip Hop music that touches the core of its elements and its culture. This isn’t any swag-rap bulls**t, this is that buttf**k rap that Freddie Gibbs called out, this is “that hop” as they say in Chicago. After releasing the cover art and the release date, Kendrick has now dropped the tracklist for his anticipated mixtape. It’s 16 songs deep featuring production from J. Cole, Terrance Martin, Digi*Phonics, THC, and Tommy Black. The guest features include Schoolboy Q, BJ The Chicago Kid, GLC, and Astro Bot. Looking at the titles, there is an emerging theme of man vs. woman, evils and vices. I can’t wait to hear this mixtape. Hit the jump for the full tracklist.
