As promised earlier, we have a new release from Kids These Days forthcoming LP, Traphouse Rock. The new jam is “Who Do U Luv” a soulful, bluesy, and communal new record that puts Kids These Days somewhere between a chain gang and a rowdy pub. I told Vic the other day that this one has that sing along vibe once the chorus hits. He shared some insight with me on the new record, emphasizing the role that Jeff Tweedy played in beefing up its sound.
Vic said, “Before it was like loud guitar the whole time. It didn’t have that really heavy piano, deep groove with the dum, dum, dum, dum, dumm, it was like dun-dunt-dunt, dunt-dunt, turnt up the whole time.
