Tone B. Nimble sent over this short documentary this morning. The doc was submitted as part of One Nation, One Chicago’s online film festival, and takes a deeper look at All Natural Inc. The indie label started by Tone B. Nimble and Capital D is an institution for Chicago Hip Hop, and their releases lined the shelves at Dr. Wax since I started really getting into music. This film specifically looks at the rising success of the group, and how Capital D’s decision to become a Muslim affected the crew’s music, performance schedule, and more. This is a great piece for those that know All Natural, as well as for those that don’t. The short clip also features commentary from DJ’s Rude 1 and Jesse De La Pena.
