This week was really scorching in Chicago. As temperatures seemed to only rise, it was extremely hard to stay cool. The heat will continue through next week, both with the weather and the threads. Ends/Wealth Corp. will release its collaboration with GLC, the “Cathedral” t-shirt, and have started an online video series to promote the release. This Saturday sees one of the most iconic Air Jordan’s ported to Nike SB’s low dunk pro. The “Space Jams” are one of the biggest drops for Nike SB this year and will create quite a stir. Wicker Park Fest will be a great place to check out all different styles represented in our fair city and is sure to draw crowds to one of the most fashion-forward neighborhoods in the city. If you’re planning on heading on over and want to stand out in the crowd, we’ve picked some dope threads to help. Hit the jump to check out this week’s selection of dope gear from Chicago’s premier boutiques PHLI, St. Alfred, Sir & Madame and Leader1354.

PHLI All-Star Chicago New Era’s

PHLI has come through with a new batch of fitted caps for all of the Chicago heads. With three different versions, PHLI chose to make a Bears colorway seen below, as well as Cubs and Sox editions. They sport a dope old school embroidered logo making the caps very eye catching. These just released and can be purchased at PHLI’s storefront.

St. Alfred Lapel Pins, Fitteds, and Head Porter Backpacks

St. Alfred just got in a new batch of some really dope products. Coming from the shop itself is a new run of fitted caps, in orange, green, and blue that feature their “CHI” logo from their Spring/Summer collection. The same logo has also made its way into a pin alongside the “‘GO!” icon. Other than that the shop has just received a large order of Head Porter bags, a new shipment of Huf SF, and a few new pairs of Nikes. The Japanese based Head Porter company specializes in unique, high end bags that are both functional and stylish, below is the XY One Shoulder Bag.

Sir & Madame Creep Pindot Buttondown

Japanese brand Creep is something that rarely makes its way onto American shelves. Lucky for us Chicagoans, Sir & Madame has a few of their pieces in stock. The brand was founded in 1997 in Osaka, Japan by Kiyofumi Awai. Now his younger brother Hiroshi is the new creative director and has combined Japanese sensibilities with his love of American workwear, producing pieces the breath an air of elegance rarely associated with workwear. This is reflected well with their ‘Pindot’ Buttondown, made of gray cotton with a white dot pattern it also features a slanted accordion button pocket. This is a great summer shirt with its short sleeves and light construction, so head over to Sir & Madame to check it out along with their other Creep products.

Nike Skateboarding “Space Jam” Dunk Lo Pros – RH Favorite

The Jordan XI Space Jams are some of the most popular Air Jordan’s in the history of the brand. How does that translate to this latest Nike SB release? Well after talking to the guys over at Uprise it’s looking like this drop will rival the ones its inspiration created. Uprise employee Mike described the hype as “pretty insane, over the past four days we’ve been keeping tally of phone calls and its about 94 right now.” Not suprising after checking out the all black patent leather uppers with the ice sole and electric blue accents. If you’re interested in owning a piece of sneaker history, make sure you get up early, Uprise opens at noon tomorrow and the shoes are expected to go very quickly.

Nike Air Max 1 Team Red & Obsidian

The Air Max 1 is one of classic Nike running shoes. It’s smooth lines are complimented by quality construction and look especially clean with the canvas and suede uppers. This particular collection comes in both red and obsidian colors, with matching colored soles and glistening white midsoles. These are available at both St. Alfred and Leaders 1354.
