We are just two days away from the release of DreamKillaz, the new mixtape from Chicago’s Lungz. The mixtape is hosted by Don Cannon, and features the likes of Joe Budden, Sir Michael Rocks, Fred The Godson, and more. I’m happy to amongst the presenters, and someone that’s been rocking with Lungz for a long time. I still remember the first time I interview Lungz at the PHLI Store in Harper Court. Harper Court isn’t even around anymore, the PHLI Store moved to 53rd Street, and Lungz is on the verge of breaking through.
What’s dope about DreamKillaz is that urgent energy that Lungz brings to each song. He knows this is his moment, and he’s ready to do whatever it takes. That same messages shines through on “Get In Tune”, a large sounding record that is produced by Araab Muzik, and features Mic Terror, who also supplies a quote-worthy verse including lines like, “have abilities to live forever, but infinity stinks.”
