Lupe Fiasco just took off for a U.S. tour (with Chicago’s own Timbuck2 serving as tour DJ) in promotion of his third studio album, L.A.S.E.R.S. At the tour’s first stop in Albany, Lupe spoke with Scott Radio of Jamz 96.3. The interview was very brief, but Lupe told the radio host that he has videos coming for “Words I Never Said”, “Out of My Head”, and “I Don’t Want To Care”. He also said that he plans a new mixtape, and a new LP, one that will be “more dedicated to the nerdy Lupe Fiasco fans out there… We’re gonna take it back.”
If by nerdy, he means that ones that protested for the album’s release, and the ones that have crowned him one of Hip Hop’s best emcees, we may have something to look forward to.
