Lykke Li will release her new LP, Wounded Rhymes, on March 1st. The album’s first single “Get Some” was a large success. The empowering jam saw remixes from Beck and Mike D. of The Beastie Boys as well as placement on blogs and websites across genres. That’s the big appeal of Lykke Li, she has pop and accessible sound with rhythms and aesthetics that appeal to fans of Hip Hop, rock, and electro. While “Get Some” saw Lykke take charge, “I Follow Rivers” is a more submissive song. The production here is crisp, with a beat building verses and an overflowing chorus.
