So, I teach a the AEMMP Hip Hop class at Columbia College. And as part of the student’s course work, they need to constantly be looking for new talent, and maintaining our AEMMP Records blog. I was checking out their work today, and found this Columbia band, Magic City posted on the site. Magic City is a duo that makes electro-pop, chill-wave type of music I really don’t know how to categorize this genre, I was calling it iPod commercial music this weekend in a discussion with my girlfriend… If you got a name, let me know. But anyway, I checked out more of Magic City, and definitely dig some of it.
