When Marc Jacobs comes out with a quarterly line it’s similar to the biggest rock group dropping an album. And this is no exception. Always a big production, Marc Jacobs previews his Spring 2010 in New York.

Bringing a subtle 1950’s style with a modern design, something truly new with obvious influence. He shows his design prowess through wild textures and muted pastel colors. In other words combine Easter and ruffles. Of course you can count on amazing bags and shoes. That is the guarantee of high fashion, however, MJ sets a standard for that industry wide. Even though the colors don’t come out at you, like they do in his Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring collection, there is still a lot of action in the clothing. Later in the collection you see a change in influence as it goes to a more angular pattern that has the illusion of fish scale.  Something you won’t see, leather and studs. Rather, you see your girls looking like women. Cheers Marc.
