Max Schaaf is no stranger to designing clean shoes. He has worked with Vans numerous times in the past; already this year he collaborated with Vans Core for a quick capsule collection and has now created a dope blacked out edition of the Mountain Edition. The most unique feature of the latest shoe is one that Mr. Schaaf actually designed years ago, an asymetrical inner upper. The inside panel of the shoe is significantly higher that the outer upper, a difference further highlighted by the choice to use black suede. The rest of the shoes are composed of black leather and treated canvas. These can now be purchased at Flatspot, and will hopefully arrive at Chicago shops Uprise and St. Alfred.
