I had way too much fun at Northcoast Fest this weekend. It was a great way to end the summer, and I caught some great performances from the likes of the Dirty Dozens Brass Band, Jay Electronica, Umphrey’s Mcgee, De La Soul, and of course Mayer Hawthorne. Feeling a little weighed down by Giordano’s Deep Dish, Hawthorne and The Country played an hour long set that included “Make Her Mine”, one of the stand out tracks from his debut album, A Strange Arrangement.
