Michael Christmas is poised to have a huge year in 2014 with all the work he has put in the last few months towards his forthcoming mixtape, Is This Art? The impressive Jasper Sheff-produced cut, “Kunishi,” brings out the best of Christmas and actually has gotten me more excited for the project than ever before. The instrumental is sonically a bit different from previous singles “Daily” and “Michael Cera;” nonetheless, the Bostonian keeps his unconventional humor intact and cranks up the intensity of the song to the max.
