I have a feeling the current evaluation of Dubstep goes along the lines of ‘Every song sounding the same, with continuous womps and no way of distinguishing artists’. While some tracks do give off that vibe, much of the hate for the genre, also lies in the fact that, the Bro-est of the college bro’s and drug eating 17-year old girls, both have now hopped aboard the bandwagon finding ‘True Love’ in the genre. Being a favorite genre of mine To me this genre stems from a long line of Bass music that has infatuated the UK for over 15 years now and has evolved into a being much larger than it’s organic foundation stemming from Drum & Bass. The point is, Flux Pavillion & Doctor P are too of the most prominent artists to rise from this genre. Recently announcing a US Tour together, this news is the equivalent to a Lil Wayne x Young Jeezy Tour or any other combination of high ranking artists at the top of their genre. Today these two have released a mega-mix in the form of 360° of Bass, featuring 2 hours on BBC Radio 1 of the best Dubstep & UK Grime on the scene today. Give your ears something new (and heavy) with this mix and see why Chiddy Bang & Theo Martins have recently done the same. Hit the jump. DO IT.

Make sure to catch them June 10th at The Congress
