In my opinion Ace Hood has been overlooked, and mistaken as simply a trap rapper, who raps over Sonny Digital beats about cocaine. And while that may be the reality in some cases, Hood gets personal on many of his songs writing about the hardships of his childhood and the positive and negative effects of signing a deal at age 17.
