“Due to the success of the 10 Day mixtape Houston’s own Chase B contacted Chance about the idea of a Chopped & Screwed tape. After hearing Chase’s version of Brain Cells it was an easy decision to go forward with releasing the slowed version of the tape. #10DayChopped features most of the songs from 10 Day (save 22 Offs, both versions of Long Time and Prom Night) and also includes the original version of Hey Ma as well. Coming fresh off of opening for Childish Gambino in Minneapolis, the Hey Ma video release and following that up with a performance at MTV2 Sucker Free and Ruby Hornet’s Digital Freshness party in Chicago this past Saturday it only made sense to release more heat.
