Did The Wood EP leave you wanting for more material from Dally Auston? Thought so. Don’t worry though, the Chicago representative has us covered with a follow-up mixtape which features nine brand new tracks plus the five previously released through the EP.

Dally has a wide variety of flows and he’s not afraid to change it up once or twice in all songs, delivering a fresh product every single time and making it a smooth listen from front-to-back. It is also worth noting that he has a great ear for beats and is not afraid to share the spotlight with his Save Money brethren –Joey Purps, Brian Fresco, Sterling Haze, Vic Mensa & Kami de Chukwu–who all bring their A-game. After a few listens, the songs that stood-out the most to me were “PIMP C”, an ode to the legendary Chad Lamont Butler, “Drake Care”, which leaves me wondering why it is titled that and has an incredible sample which the two emcees abuse, and “The Majors”, which has a very surprising verse by Kami. Props to illroots on the premiere.
