!llmind has always been one of the dopest producers around, from his early work with Chicago’s own The Pacifics to Little Brother and most recently his very dope Fortilive side-project. Today we’ve learned he, fellow producer Konrad have linked with vocalists Seer & Father Dude, to form the crew Smokey Robotic & have released a 14-track mixtape The Shark & The Helicopter via DJBooth.Net. The project find vocalists Seer and Father Dude and producers Konrad and !llmind showcasing their eclectic, genre-bending style in 14 original records, including reader-approved leak “Blast Off.” Seer and Father Dude fly solo on the mic throughout The Shark & the Helicopter. Beats come courtesy of !llmind and Konrad, with co-production and instrumentation by Dr.Know, Jr., Jared Winzelberg, FD and Chris Rob.
