Despite his awesome music, Sugar Tongue Slim remains kind of under the radar. It’s not that he is completely unknown or anything but it seems like he doesn’t get the attention he deserves. This poet-turned-rapper has some of the best rhymes around and always manages to find good production to couple with his lyrics, consistently yielding great final products. He has already let a handful of tracks loose from this tape and they have all been impressive, most notably the Alchemist-produced “The Interview”. Now we get to hear the rest of the 16 track mixtape that was recorded in the legendary Tree Sound Studios. The tape features production from The Knux, Will Power, Ski Beatz, and the aforementioned Alchemist.
