Sin City: A Dame to Kill For just exudes sexiness, whether it’s Jessica Alba gyrating in an eternal animated GIF loop or how tantalizingly bloody the film’s looked in the footage that’s been shown so far. Sin City, both the graphic novels and the films, are just too hot for some to handle. Apparently, the MPAA falls into the latter category, as they’ve banned the Ava/Eva Green character poster that was meant to be included with the five other character posters released last week. Thanks to the internet (and my absentmindedness), I’m sharing the full collection of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For character posters below, including the aforementioned Eva Green poster alongside the more tame Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, and Jessica Alba posters.

As for the MPAA’s ruling, the block comes from the poster’s “ nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” Honestly, they have a valid reason to block the poster. Of course, the MPAA is working with the studio to find a way to censor the poster so that it can be delightfully displayed in theaters across the country. I’m sure it’ll take nothing more than a quick Photoshop blur. For now, enjoy what we’ve been shown below.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be in theaters on August 22nd.
