While we were in NYC for Digital Freshness with Colin Munroe, Naledge was on the road via The Professional Leisure Tour.  Here he drops us the cliff notes of life on the road, as well as a new vlog.  Check it out below.

I can’t lie. Charlestown, South Carolina wasn’t nearly one of the better Kidz in the Hall shows I have experienced. Beyond the fact that this was only our second time ever doing a show in their state, I hate doing shows in venues that don’t look full. Although there were probably a good 300 people in the venue we played at, the venue probably held 1000 people. Luckily, UNI and Curtains have been great openers who have good energy because they seem to keep the crowd hype for us. Still, I think my mind just wasn’t all the way on the show as it could’ve been. The great thing about that is the fact that I can always look forward to the next day and the next show but unfortunately I still feel like I haven’t had a proper experience of a South Carolina hip hop crowd…well better luck next show…we head off to Ashville, NC in about 4 hours. I’m sleepy…paz.

Ashville, NC was extra dope….It was kind of a “hippie” town with a hipster flare. I was unsure how it was going to turn out but it actually went really well. We almost went to some random afterparty at a house with a hottub but the girls who invited us kinda creeped me out…maybe it was the alcohol though…i dont know these days.. I might just be paranoid. Anyways, the show reminded me of Wicker Park, just less trendy. We went to some thrift shops and looked at vintage clothes and browsed in the record store that they had. All in all, it was an experience just to be there.

In Charlotte I come to find out that Warren G’s camp had a shitload more fun in Asheville than I did….lol… made me wonder if I shouldnt have judged the girls that talked to me so soon…. The show and the afterparty was soo weak sauce i decided to send emails and write this blog rather than go to sleep. I guess nervousness about NY is kicking in….sike…

I lost my fucking phone!!! This sucks!!! Until I buy a new one, don’t expect too many twitpics from me….Williamsburg ended up being a decent show but I was soo tired that I dont think I really have too many memories from it. I’m glad my sister and her boyfriend got a chance to see the show…I hope i was good entertainment for their date night…I’m really looking forward to doing Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday but I’m going to make the most of these days off by getting some long needed rest….I also cant stand that all the comsuming of fast food is making me really fat…I need to do something about this ASAP!
