If you picked up a copy of the the most recent issue of Vogue Magazine (released August 24th) than you no doubt caught the large feature on Chicago’s Nick Cave and his vivid Soundsuits. Cave is the Chair of Chicago’s Art Institute’s Fashion Department. His Soundsuits are full body wear constructed from basically any kind of material you can add to a full body suit. They also make noise. The Soundsuit will be on full display this month in nightly installations starting September 10th and running through the 17th. The installations will take place nightly at 8PM on the corner of Michigan Ave and 23rd street. There will be a pop up shop as well featuring tees and other pieces inspired by the suits.
