Nike 1948 Entrance

Back in 2008 Nike opened a revolutionary store-front in an abandoned East London rail arch. The store was a celebration of the 1948 Olympic Games in London, which helped energize the post-WWII European economy. Now, after extensive remodeling, the store has been re-purposed for the 2012 games. Continuing with its history as a gathering space, Nike 1948 will be a sort of community center, encouraging locals to attend events, installations, and screenings. On top of that it will feature the most exclusive Nike apparel and footwear. A very clean and modern space made even better because your surrounded by dope threads, hit the jump for more photos.
