“It’s time to take her down!”
I’ve been waiting for more than a minute to highlight some of Chicago’s rising songstresses. Let’s start with Nikki Nikita, who a few minutes ago would have represented by the Avatar or Call of Duty photo on her Myspace page… Anyway, hailing from Kenosha (shouts to all our readers in Wiscaaaansaan) along with a short stay in sunny California, Nikki has now settled herself and her soulful music in the windiest of cities. Marking her first major label hook placement at the young age of 18, Nikki now looks to broaden her solo career and release a project within the year. For now we have an exclusive track entitled “Take Her Down” embodying organic drums, heavy strings, and soulful vocals lashing out an unknown mistress.
