No Sleep

By now you’ve seen the “Intro” video, download “Pray For’em” and the now non-mixtape track “What I’m On” all from my new project with YP entitled No Sleep.  The mixtape drops tomorrow (12/14), and it has been a long journey that started in the wee hours sometime back in the spring of 2010.  It grew, changed, then grew some more as YP worked diligently on creating his most introspective and honest music to date.  I treated it as such, as worked carefully to sequence the tracks, create natural transitions, and some special interludes (see below).  Last night we hosted an invite-only listening session for No Sleep, and the response was overwhelmingly positive (footage below).

With a mere 24 hours left before the release, here is one last reminder and plug for the project.  After the jump you will see an updated tracklist, “What I’m On” the track featuring Rockie Fresh is no longer on the mixtape, so you can file that in the rare/b-side collection.  Also you will find the said footage from last night’s listening session courtesy of Davy Greenberg.  Lastly you will find an interlude I created entitled “I’m On No Sleep”.  Enjoy it all.  Thanks for the support.  Download No Sleep tomorrow via DJBooth.net and RH.  Don’t forget we are celebrating the release on Thursday at this month’s Digital Freshness.
