Aloe Blacc is currently prepping for the release of his project Good Things, out on Stones Throw September 26th. He stopped through the Sunday Sound Session over at The Audacity of Dope and blessed them with a Live performance of "Politician" off the album. The track appears only in instrumental form on Good Things, so be sure to hit the jump for the video. I'm very excited for this release, with such a clean arrangement of the instruments heard on "Politician", they foreshadow an authentic soul sound for the album.

Brooklyn's City Haze made a winner in this one, showcasing his abilities over a killer beat produced by Philly Blunts. This is what he had to say about how he incorporated beatboxing into the track:
"Yeah, thats beatboxing in the track from Beatsmyth of Hippo Funk, i put it together, some FX (EQ, COMP, AUTOPAN), and for the scratching, i took his voice, ran it thru an autofilter and a stupid strong sidechain compressor to get that pumping sound, and all guitars and bass in this song was played live and fucked with in Ableton Live."
