Kid Cudi's Back On The Job: Live From The Bape Store
It’s always nice to get a look into an artist’s life to learn about possible musical influences. Cudi went back to his old employer in NYC last month to perform REVOFEV. This new video gives a bit of an inside look at the event as Kid Cudi tells of his time working at Bape. View the video after the jump. His sophomore LP, Man on The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, is due out in September.

After years of working with fine domestic and Japanese fabrics, 4Stroke has ventured into Italian selvedge for their Spring 2011 season. We've got a preview of a few pairs featuring the new fabric in a variety of cuts and colors. The 13 oz. raw and washed denim is finely constructed and will be hitting stores next year. Robyn: "Hang With Me" Video
This Robyn comeback is no joke... seriously. I thought it was kind of a joke and snobbishly pushed Robyn off as a one-hit wonder from the 90's. Those were just my American sensibilities and too much VH1 talking. Since she hit the U.S. in '95 as a female counterpart to Snow, Robyn has been making music and picking up accolades, especially this year following the release of Body Talk Part 1 and the forthcoming release of Body Talk Part 2 in September. I get what she's saying her, a simple message to would be suitors... It's like, 'look, let's just hang out, and see where things go. Don't get all crazy and start texting me right after you drop me off, or call me too many times the next day. Maybe we'll go on rollercoasters and you can come to my soundcheck." At least that's what I got from the video, which you can also get and draw conclusions from below.
Public Enemy: "Say It Like It Really Is"

I didn't know what to expect when seeing new PE hit my inbox. I hit the play and hoped for the best. "Say It Like It Really Is" feels like classic PE. Chuck D cuts through the BS, and appeals to other emcees and public figures to tell the truth. It's fresh for the 2010 and part of a Public Enemy 3-disc box set that you can pick up right here. On Tuesday Ricky is releasing a special DVD edition of his early 90's Public Access show "Rapping with The Rickster" filled with classic interviews, and rare footage.
