Now this is a video that Kanye West would love… World traveler Patrice turned to his friend and artist JR for the inspiration this new video, “I Ain’t Got (I Got Life)”. The song is a pretty large checklist of everything missing in the protagonist’s life, including shoes, socks, shirts, and jumping to conclusions, service as well. Think Sublime’s “What I Got” expect this dude doesn’t even have a dalmatian, and may or may not be able to “still get high”. What does he have? He has his hair, his brain, and his smile, and when the music is as soothing as the summery rhythm present in “Ain’t Got…”, well, you got a lot. The song is available in France right here.
