Patrick Stump

Patrick Stump definitely feels very close to the City of Chicago, and if he has his way, he’s going to stay here for the rest of his life.  That’s the message on “This City” a song about the ins and outs of the Windy City, and sticking with it through the goods and bads.  The bads include segregation, gentrification, and achievement gaps, corruption, pollution, and the list goes on.  Helping Stump point out Chicago’s flaws is fellow Chicagoan, Lupe Fiasco.  The song is the first single from Patrick Stump’s forthcoming solo LP, Soul Punk.  Listen below. Someone should put this on Rahm’s playlist.
