A couple weeks ago I was invited to participate in a round table of sorts for an episode of Chicago Verse United Podcast series with Jaime Black. The round table focused on the year that was in the Chicago Music Scene, covering some of the best albums, songs, artists, and developments in 2011. And the other participants included Andrew Barber of Fakeshoredrive and Richard Giraldi of LoudLoopPress.  It was a great time discussing our favorite music, and our takes on the local scene’s development over the years.  Jaime Black is one of my favorite journalists and music people, and I was actually looking forward to this interview for a while.  It’s a great listen, and I think sound like I know what I’m talking about (l hope).  Give it a listen, and let me know your thoughts on the year in the Chi.
