Revolutions Per Minute

So it looks like one of the more anticipated albums of the year, Reflection Eternal’s Revolutions Per Minute, is getting pushed back to a May 18th release date. None the less everyone still should be looking forward to their full second go around boasting features from Estelle, Bilal, Bun B, Mos Def, Jay Electronica, J. Cole, Res and Chester French. The Reflection Eternal formula of empowerment and sentimental sounds has always hit the hearts of us music fans and their new record will hopefully continue the tradition. One half of the producer emcee duo, Talib Kweli explains the record’s meaning,

“It’s the idea of revolution through music.  It’s the idea that people in today’s culture take things in YouTube-sized bites and clips and if it’s not in a clip or a soundbite or something that you can fit in under a minute, people don’t pay attention to it.  The idea is:  How many revolutions can you get accomplished in under a minute in a quick culture?”
