After a bit of a hiatus, Digital Freshness is back and we are taking things up a notch in 2013. After a great 2 years at Beauty Bar, we’re taking Digital Freshness to Schubas to provide our audience with a better concert experience, while keeping the intimate vibe of the party. We’re kicking things off on February 23rd with a headlining set from Roc Marciano, who released one of the best Hip Hop albums of 2012 in Reloaded. I don’t think Roc has ever performed in Chicago, and if he has, it’s definitely been a minute.
Joining Roc Marciano on the bill is up and comer Julian Malone, who just inked a deal with Stones Throw and is at the head of Chicago’s youth movement. Also hitting the stage is Scheme with DJ Scend, who brings a tremendous amount of energy and passion each and every time out. We’ll also have DJ sets from Timbuck2, DJ Rude One, VIPJ, and RTC. This is going to be a great night for Hip Hop. Please join us.
