Digtial Freshness continues Thursday June 10th with a special live performance from Atlantic Records/Fool’s Gold Recording artists Donnis. Since the release of his proper debut, The Diary of An Atlanta Brave with international clothing brand Ten.Deep, Donnis has been one of Hip Hop’s most buzzing artists. He was featured in the coveted “Freshmen Issue” of XXL Magazine and labeled one of 2010’s top 10 new faces in Hip Hop music. He also released the single “Gone” with DJ A-Trak’s label “Fool’s Gold”. The video for “Gone” has since been a mainstay on MTV Jams. Donnis’ buzz continues to rise as he prepares for the release of an EP and mixtape both entitled Fashionably Late on June 22nd.
The concert takes place 6.10.10 at The Shrine (2109 S. Wabash) and will also feature sounds by RubyHornet’s DJ RTC. Pre-sale tickets are $10 and can be found at www.clubtix.net/theshrine.
This is Donnis’ second show with RubyHornet. In June of 2009 Donnis performed at RubyHornet’s Dimes and Dozens monthly at Lava Lounge. The night was a complete smash and pictures from that debauchery can be found here.
